I was charged for an SMS that isn't mine

In rare cases, if you requested a number for an unknown or unsupported service, you may receive an SMS that was not intended for you and still be charged for it.

Virtual numbers are not newly created - they may have been previously used by other people. Because of this, occasional unrelated or delayed messages can be delivered to the number you were provided. These can include:
  • spam messages
  • messages from previous owners' contacts
  • notifications from old subscriptions
  • messages from services used by other customers that did not match our detection patterns and were not recognized by our system

So, what should I do now?

Please submit a support ticket and include as much detail as possible:
  • the number you used
  • the date and time of your request
  • the service / website you were trying to verify
We'll review your case and do our best to resolve the issue.
