Reusing a one-time number fails. Please help!

Many users ask why a previously used number is no longer available for receiving online SMS messages. The answer is simple: numbers on the platform are designed primarily for one-time use.

This is exactly why they are called one-time numbers.

While number reuse is sometimes possible, it cannot be guaranteed because availability depends on how long the number remains active with our provider.

When a new number is added to the platform, we rent it from our provider for a limited period of time, usually with a minimum duration of 24 hours. If you happen to obtain the number close to the end of its rental cycle, the remaining active time may be very short. Once the rental period expires, the number will be automatically removed from Tell A Bot.

What Does "This MDN Cannot Be Requested Anymore" Mean?

It means the number has already expired and has been removed. At that point, it is no longer available in our pool and cannot be reused SMS verification or OTP delivery anymore

Final Notes

For the best experience with SMS verification and OTP services, we recommend treating one-time numbers as temporary resources rather than permanent phone numbers.
